This year, we welcome Local, National, and international authors, along with poetry panels showcasing incredible talent. In the Young Readers Area, children can enjoy author readings every 30 minutes and have a chance to win prizes, including $500!

Explore the Cultural Zone with an art showcase and visit the Literature Room for books presented by authors, librarians, and bookstores. Plus, all attendees can participate in the event passport for a chance to win $250!

And that’s not all—the first 100 participants will receive a $10 coupon to purchase a book!

VISION

The Feria del Libro Oregon Book Fair is dedicated to celebrating literature, art, and diverse voices, building a cultural bridge between languages and communities. Our event honors the achievements of the Spanish speaking community in Oregon and beyond while embracing the richness of English, Spanish, and Indigenous languages in storytelling.

We strive to cultivate cultural exchange, promote literacy, and ignite a passion for storytelling and the arts—creating an inclusive space where literature and creativity unite people across backgrounds.

The Feria de Libro Oregon Book Fair welcomes four outstanding Oregon poets, who will share with attendees’ important considerations when poets write prose, traditional, and nontraditional poetry. Each poet will share a quote with panel discussion to follow. At the end of each discussion the sponsoring poet will share a poem or two. Most importantly, at the end of the panel discussion time will be allocated for audience questions. The panel discussion will be moderated by one of Oregon’s premier poets, Emmett Wheatfall.

Through this activity, children will develop skills in the use of art materials, fine motor coordination, creative expression, and teamwork, while having fun creating their unique design.
