Juan Cervantes
Juan Cervantes Morales, born in Oaxaca, Mexico, is the author of two poetry books: Voices of Freedom and Endless Word. He has been a member of the Silverton Poetry Association (2010-2018) and co-founder of Spiral Publishing. It is at this time a special guest as a reader and exponent of topics on poetry for students at Portland State University. In 2020, together with German Rizo, published La Otra voz, a poetic anthology that includes poems by Oregonian authors of our time. In 2018, he founded the Arte Poética club to promote poetry in the Spanish language in the state of Oregon. Cervantes practices the art of digital photography and as such he photographs landscapes and people.

Nitza M. Hernández-López
A distinguished Puerto Rican poet and visual artist who has lived in Salem, Oregon, for the past three years, Nitza holds a PhD in Communication Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has had a rich and successful career as a university educator. Her poetry, in both Spanish and English, has appeared in several anthologies and print and online magazines. She has received awards and recognition from the Oregon Poetry Association and the Institute of Oregonian Culture, demonstrating her excellence in the world of literature.

Jorge Luis Porrata
Originary from Camagüey, Cuba. A poet and artist whose work blends text, image, and spiritual themes. He emigrated to the U.S. in 2001, published poetry and books, and taught art. He lives in Portland, Oregon, where he draws, writes, and teaches.

Carmen Rojas Larrazábal
Poet, cultural manager and anthologist from San Sebastián de los Reyes, Venezuela, she has specializations in English, Chicano and African American Literature. Her poems are part of the anthology Animal Neobarroco, a contemporary sample of this style, compiled by Luis Manuel Pérez Boitel, Cuba.

Efraín Díaz-Horna
Born in Peru, is a poet, artist, and philosopher. He studied in Peru and the U.S., earning two graduate degrees from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He worked for the state of Oregon and Multnomah County. He has published several poetry books and exhibited his artwork in Oregon, Mexico, Russia, and Peru.
